  • circuit board (damaged?)

    Hello,
    I am a brand new owner of a AX65.
I had to make some electrical changes to pass MOT. (TÜV in Germany )
During that I must have made some (big) mistakes... 🙄
Is there a picture of the back of the circuit board where all the switches and lights are?
"someone" hits on the main switch button (left) and may be others (don't ask why) and suddenly there was smoke and smell coming out of the dash and now the car isn't charging anymore... 😭
IGN light is always on and amperes are unloading.
May be someone knows what "this idiot" has damaged?
After I opened it I could only see that the wiper switch has some black marks on the back.
    Regards
    Markus
The white stuff on the switch is grease...

Thanks for the reply but I am still in hope to fix it by myself 😁
I try to precise my question:
Is there anything on the back of the brown board that could have been in contact (during "bending") with the metal housing that could cause the short circuit? (anything what could be in charge for charging)
(that's why I asked for a picture of the back)
      Regards Markus

        Hi Marcus,
Have you looked in the electrical section of the Technical Manual. This is a direct link to the section.
If you search you will find a number of circuit diagrams for different models but unfortunately the AX65 is not there. However there are diagrams for the '75' model which may help. It may help to construct your own diagram of the connections to the switch from these drawings to aid you. I would also suggest that you contact Ian Potts. I have found him very knowledgeable.

          Hello Gordon,
I've got a wiring diagram for AX65 cars in the meantime. 👍
I've looked several times in the technical manuals also, but I am not very handy in electric.... And I also have problems in understanding what is connected with what and how it works. Especially the Dynamotor.
There were also "some" changes in the wiring in the last couple of years made. That doesn't makes it easier.
It would help to know if bending of the circuit board could have caused any short circuit with the metal behind. If not, the problem must be elsewhere. If yes I have to dismantle the whole stuff 😭 and that is a task what I try to avoid!
Nobody around with a picture of the back side? Or the information what's behind?
          Regards Markus
