  • Front wheel bearing BD 105

    Hi
    just a simple question please
    How tight should the front wheel bearing nuts be on a 105
    i fear I might have over tightened to reduce wheel movement
    My car ( a BD 105 with a Corsica 1960s DHC body) has a damper fitted to the steering arm . Is this normal ?

    Hello Richard,
    just tight enough to remove free slack and not cause any binding in the bearing. Then cotter pin it. If you feel you have to tighten too much then perhaps time for a new bearing. I personaly have not see any dampers fitted to the steering arm.
