  • 14/45 Gaskets

I have had the need to make some gaskets for Fuggle's AG 14/45 Pick up engine and have done it in such a way that If the club allows, I can supply these to other members for a small charge.

The paper ones are made in 0.25mm (0.010") Flexoid gasket paper.

    Dynastart Gasket
This fits the 12V Dynastart as fitted to 14/45 and 65 vehicles. It may well fit others but you will need to tell me. The original part number equivalent is 308852

    Balance Pipe Gaskets
Again, made in 0.25mm (0.010") Flexoid paper. These fit both ends of the gearbox:sump balance pipe for the crash gearbox.

    Gearbox Rear Flange
I don't think this is an original fitment for the 4-speed crash gearbox as there is no sign of one in the parts book but it has cured a leak on Fuggle's van.

    Torque Tube to Gearbox
Again, not an original fitment but "belt and braces".

    Exhaust Flange Gasket
These are made from 1.0mm copper. They will need to be annealed before use.

    Martin,
I think that the mounting flange on the dynastarts are all the same. Its the diameter of the main body that differs. If you let me have the size of the inside diameter of your gasket, I can check against the 65, 75 and 105s that I have.
I believe that the balance pipe flanges are also the same.
    Regards,
    Divk.

      Hi Dick,

The ones I've made have an ID of 140mm. I can make any size you like, though, I just need the details.

Interesting....they are not all the same.....

        I guess yours is a DM6 at 140mm.
        DM11s are 142mm and the 12/24 volt DM9s are 148mm diameter.

Thanks, Dick, I'll have to make 3 versions then!
