Forum Technical issues

We had some technical issues over the weekend affecting the forum, this meant access was not possible
These have now been resolved with updates and patches applied, so back to normal now!

Thanks for that post. I had no trouble with the forum over the weekend! So what was the problem?
On the TOC website I note that there have been changes but am still finding that the latest 2 issues of the TOC magazine still return "page not found" when you click on the front cover - all the rest open fine so it seems there is a broken link somewhere? Incidentally the url for different issues have different styles - does this imply they are not all stored in the same place?

The latest 2 magazines and all the rest now open properly. Thanks flor fixing that.
There is now the problem that all the TOC Magazines for 2016 to 2014 are now no longer available on the old Forum/website. What does it take to fix that and how can members help?

Have now got full access to nearly all the magazines back to April 2003. Great progress and thank you. The exception is with issues 80, 81 & 82 which do not show the front of the magazine on the index. However if you click on the space for the 82 issue that issue does open, however issues 80 & 81 only show "Page not found". Can this be sorted out please?

not sure if anyone's been found yet, but we are looking fir someone to build up an index for the magazines taking over from the last indexing from years ago - interested?!!!

Update on opening up Magazines. Now I can open 81 but not 82 and 83 - very strange indeed!!!!

Still having difficulty getting into this forum. Guy set me up with a new password earlier in the week and that worked at the third attempt but my computer did not remember it. Today i could not get in using the user name and password that Guy had given me. I went looking around on the website and tried entering the forum from the general list shown there and low and behold it let me in with my earlier details that had not worked last week.

Just been trying to get into the talbot portal, it seems yet another password is required. Why is the whole thing so unnecessarily complicated?

here's the thing as they say in modern day english - once youve logged in for the first time into the portal or forum, you can ask it to remember you login details and log straight in after that.

But if you have already logged in and didn't click the box to remember your log in details then the remember box does not reappear when you log in again. So what do you do then?

Well my experience is that it will ask you each time you login if you want your computer to remember you
